This 4-day Tanzania safari combines classic wildlife viewing with one of the greatest spectacles on Earth – the Wildebeest Migration calving season in Ndutu. This private safari includes full board throughout the trip, an experienced English-speaking guide, and exclusive use of a comfortable 4×4 safari Jeep equipped with mineral water, power sockets, and binoculars to enhance your experience.
We will pick you up from your lodge in the morning and depart for Tarangire National Park, enjoying game drives along the way with packed lunch boxes. After an Enjoy a full-day game drive, spotting lions, giraffes, zebras, wildebeest, and many more. We’ll transfer you to your lodge for relaxation, dinner, and an overnight stay.
After breakfast, drive into the Ndutu plains, located between southern Serengeti and Ngorongoro Conservation Area. Spend the day following the Great Migration herds. Between December and March, this is the calving season, when hundreds of thousands of wildebeest give birth.
Witness predators like lions, cheetahs, and hyenas taking advantage of the abundance of prey. Overnight at Sero Tented Camp, offering an authentic bush experience close to the migration action.
Early morning game drive in Ndutu to catch predators at sunrise. Continue exploring the plains before starting your journey back towards Karatu. Picnic lunch on the way.
Evening arrival at Marera Valley Lodge for dinner and overnight.
After breakfast, you’ll descend into the Ngorongoro Crater for a spectacular game drive inside this natural wildlife haven. Following your adventure on the crater floor, we’ll begin the drive back to Arusha, where your unforgettable safari experience comes to an end.
